The book is cool, but not true bike porn. Let's look at the cover for example. Beautiful bike- but wtf are the yellow "caution" stickers still on the seat post, the crank, the frame and on the wheels? The valves of the wheels aren't hidden behind the fork and chain stay. The crank arms should be at "3&9" not "9&3". And the dork disc is still on it! Come on. For a multi- thousand dollar cycling machine, least put forth a little more effort to photograph it. This book is a cool gift, but not true, pure bike porn. Chris Naylor did not nail this.
Fun book. Not much reading, and some great photos. I question some of the choices they made regarding what "bike porn" is, but hey, who am I???? Some of the photos would have been more awesome if they were more bike and less scenery, but over all, a fun, colorful modern book with great surprises in it.
